SOMNIA-SPECIFIC QUESTIONS
1. Dreams are how Sleep chooses you. What might draw your character into Somnia— a wound, a wish, a weakness? Would they follow the dream, or run from it?
Miles is first and foremost a curious person. Having something - or someone - approach him and offer him the chance to see something big and brilliant, even if he's not entirely sure what he would encounter there, would be too much for him to reject. This wouldn't be the only reason, however. The Walrider has been frequently shown in canon to be something next to impossible to control, with one other person being only mildly successful in dealing with trying to make it follow commands (Billy Hope, in this case). With it now inhabiting his body/control, Miles would be jumping at the chance to go somewhere that would maybe help him control it, or at least make it so that it isn't as "active". If Sleep could offer him this, then he would follow the dream for both curiosity and his own sakes.

2. Somnia is a slow unraveling—of worlds, and of selves. How does your character respond to fear, transformation, and losing control? Do they fight, adapt, collapse?
Miles is someone who adapts. When he first enters Mount Massive, it's on the understanding that he would be able to go in, check it out, then leave. This obviously doesn't happen thanks to intervention from people who were trapped there, and he was forced to adapt very quickly to what was going on around him and to his surroundings - investigating, hiding, and running from those who wanted to do him harm. In this case, he would do his best to adapt to the world he finds himself in. If only to investigate and because he knows there wouldn't be much he could do to get out of the place (much like the asylum).

Since Mount Massive, he has been forced to adapt to his new life as well. Being on the run from Murkoff with their prized project, adapting to having it with him, and from his life being thrown completely from its normalcy due to his visit there. In the comics, he takes all of his money from his bank accounts and disappears from their sight entirely — the Murkoff employees who deal with "mitigation" were unable to find him, doubly so thanks to the Walrider's intervention in their attempts to find anything in his home. This would be a lot to adapt to, but it's clearly a fight Miles is ready to take on.

3. Connection is the only constant. What kind of bonds does your character form— fast and burning, slow and wary, deep and desperate? How might that shape their time in this world?
MIles isn't shown to create bonds with others throughout the game, but he is shown to have an excessive amount of sympathy for those who are stuck there, even those who do him harm - such as Chris Walker, his main "antagonist" throughout his time there. Through this, I would imagine that Miles tends to lean towards fast bonds being created - especially as he can be quite trusting, travelling to an unknown place on the word of an anonymous whistleblower (though that was also his desire for a new story driving him there). Miles would want to make friends with others and mainly positive relationships in order to learn as much as he could, both about them and about the place they have been brought to.

This would encourage Miles to want to reach out to others, to ask questions, to become friends in order to have some sort of network he can reach out to if needed. However, he would also want to look out for other people, leaning in to the sympathy he has for others. Miles has a large sense of "justice" and desires to fight against corruption and those who are doing wrong, so taking others under his wing or trying to ensure other people are doing well would be a big motivator for him.

4. What are two major forces in your character’s personality that are often in conflict? (Ex: logic vs emotion, power vs guilt, obedience vs rage, etc.)
Miles can become caught between honesty and deceit, especially as part of his job. Although lying to others or deceiving them in some way leaves a bad taste in his mouth, when it comes down to it, he would willingly lie to others in order to either get what he needs or to protect them from something - or to avoid embarrassing or revealing himself. However, he values honesty and thinks it's an incredibly important trait to have, and as such tries to be as honest as possible. Sometimes it just isn't always possible for him, though.

VESSEL SELECTION
Which Vessel Type are you choosing: Token or Offering?
Offering
Why does this Vessel type feel appropriate for your character?
While it wasn't by his own choice, Miles has already become something akin to an Offering in his own canon. In Mount Massive, he was "possessed" by the Walrider and became its new host, and thus becoming something more than human whilst still being himself. He would be familiar with the struggle of trying to remain himself while dealing with something else influencing him - so it links closely to what he's already dealing with!
Choose one OR list three subclass options within your chosen Vessel type that you think would suit them:
Either a Seraph / Daemon because of the "god Walrider" idea, or a metal Golem due to the possession of the Walrider, the little nanites given "human" form.
